The International Conference “Drosophila in Experimental Genetics and Biology” is one of the leading scientific forums in Ukraine dedicated to research on Drosophila melanogaster. The first conference in this series was held on September 15–20, 2008, at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Since then, the conference has become a regular biennial event hosted by different scientific centers in Ukraine, including Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, and Kyiv.
The conference traditionally brings together leading Ukrainian and international researchers.
The conference is conducted in Ukrainian and English and covers a broad range of contemporary topics, from molecular genetics and biogerontology to neurobiology, evolution, and ecology.
