Emerging Wings Symposium - Monday, May 4th, 2026 - Copenhagen

Dear all Fly Pushers,

The time has finally come! Registration for the Emerging Wings Symposium is now open! A Nordic Symposium for the Next Generation of Drosophilists!

🧬Join us for a day of talks, posters, and discussions, featuring a morning joint lecture with fellow Drosophilist Nobel Laureates Eric F. Wieschaus and Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard!

🔬A panel discussion will follow the key note talk where early career researchers can discuss with the Nobel Laureates the path of a scientist and mentorship.

🎤The afternoon shifts the spotlight to early career researchers, where six will have the opportunity to present their work.

🖼 The day will conclude with a poster session, allowing peers to share ideas, resources, protocols, and expand their networks.

We hope you can join us for a wonderful day of discussion, networking and connection with fellow Drosophila enthusiasts from across Denmark and the Nordics!
