Postdoctoral position in Jyväskylä, Finland
A postdoctoral position is available in project entitled: Filamin mechanosensor in muscle development and diseases. The candidate is expected to have a background in Drosophila developmental biology or in advanced light microscopy. This project involves generation and crossing of recombinant Drosophila melanogaster lines, and studying Drosophila indirect flight muscle development with confocal microscopy, super-resolution microscopy and electron microscopy. The funding is available initially for 2,5 years.
